What’s On Your List?

About two years ago my son, who was about 7 at the time, asked me if I knew of any other words for “Butt.”  Amused by his question, I immediately started to rattle off a few (albeit some of the more common) names – buns, buttocks, tush.  As we giggled away like two 7-year-old boys…ass, duff…he insisted that we get a sheet of paper and start to make a list.  As soon as my husband and daughter heard about it, they quickly joined in on the challenge.  The only rule we had was that we couldn’t search the internet, that would be considered cheating.  Between the four of us, we probably came up with over 30 names within 10 minutes.  From there the list grew more slowly, but was always in the back of our minds.

Sometimes we would be talking about something completely unrelated and a word would come up and derail the conversation:

Babe, where’s the snow brush?

It’s in the trunk. 

Trunk!  Is Trunk on THE list?

Other times we would enlist the help of friends and family when they would come over to our house:

Hi! So good to see you.  Can you name 3 uncommon words for butt?  We’re making a list and we need your help.  Yes…I’m very serious.

If nothing else, it’s a good conversation starter, and I have never had anyone turn me down – old, young, good sense of humor, no sense of humor.  Why?  Because everyone is always up for good, clean, juvenile fun.  Over the past 2 years, our list has grown to an impressive 64, but I am still not satisfied.  I think there are way more than 64 words/phrases out there and this is where I challenge all of you to come up with additions to the list.  Here is what we have so far:
